What if your birth partner knew EXACTLY what to do if your water broke?

What if he UNDERSTOOD where your baby was inside your pelvis and based on that he could give you a targeted back massage that would help your baby come down smoother?

Imagine if your partner:

✅Knew how to hold your belly in just the right way so that the intensity of your contractions become less

✅ Learned how to physically + emotionally support you in one of the most vulnerable times of your life

✅Had a knowledge of the process of birth + became an active participant in the whole process

✅ Understood the things he could do to physically support you immediately postpartum so that you could focus on your job of being a new mom

What I have learned from birth partners:

Men desire to be USEFUL.

But they don’t always know how do to that during birth….

Thankfully, birth is EXTREMELY mechanical.

Understanding those mechanics makes them better honor their role.

The more the two of you can use labor as an opportunity to be a team

The more connected + respected you’ll feel in your relationship in the future.

During partner sessions, my clients:

laugh with eachother as they learn how to prepare for birth

✅  cultivate a full appreciation for the art of birth

✅have faith in eachother to overcome any obstacle during birth

✅ feel connected, like they are a team working together to birth

Now it’s YOUR turn

I help birth partners who are seeking ways to be an active participant during labor, feel confident in their ability to be useful for the birth.

“My husband even joked and told her "you know you could save a lot of marriages with this stuff!"“

“I was inclined to make an appointment with her when I had decided I wanted to try a natural birth and work on strengthening my pelvic floor for after the birth. She made me feel very confident in going natural and provided me with techniques I trust to help me follow through with my plan, which was so empowering.”

“My favorite thing was that she did an appointment with my husband and I to teach him some ways to be hands on with me during labor - giving him a job and making him feel more involved with the process instead of being displaced.”

The Prenatal Program

  • Pregnant Refine Physical Therapy

    Step 1. BUILD STRENGTH

The first phase is going to be focused on building your physical strength to support your growing baby. Many times this will effectively address or prevent “pregnancy aches and pains”.

  • Birth Support Refine Physical Therapy

    Step 2. MAKE SPACE

The next phase is to make space for your baby. Typically the more room a baby has to move down the pelvis, the smoother the labor and birth experience will be for both of you.

  • Labor Support Refine Physical Therapy

Step 3. PREPARE YOUR BIRTH PARTNER

The last phase is preparing your birth partner. Where he will learn tangible, physical skills to help facilitate your labor process.
